Holy Land, Judaea. Old Testament Period, Iron Age, c. 2200 - 1550 BCE. Very early Judaean clay oil lamp with four 'pinched' nozzles and rounded bottom. Heavy earthen encrustation throughout, and spouts still charred from use in antiquity! A few chips but a nice example of an incredibly early lamp!
