Ancient Persian Bronze Arrowhead, Elamite-Luristan, c. 1200-800 BC. Nice large bronze arrowhead. Deltoid head with raised central midrib and short tang for mounting in a shaft. L: 4 1/4”. Nicely preserved with multicolored patina and earthen encrustations. Ref: Malloy "Weapons" plate XII, #92; Muscarella #417 for type. From the highly curated Spangenberg collection, Texas (original Spangenberg inventory number AAV-SAC 16.03.65).
