A stunning polished Madagascan Cleoniceras ammonite fossil has been carved out to create a dish. There is second agatized ammonite inlaid into the center of the large one. It could be used as a very unique dish, bowl or ashtray. Wonderful gift for any fossil lover.
Ammonites were predatory mollusks that resembled a squid with a shell. These cephalopods had eyes, tentacles, and spiral shells. They are more closely related to the modern-day octopus and squid.
