The name "Weller" traces back to the Stitzel-Weller Distilling Company—founded in 1935 and closed in 1972 during the famous "Whiskey Recession." Today, W.L. Weller has been revived by Buffalo Trace Distillery to bring their iconic name back to the forefront of whiskey.

W.L. Weller Full Proof is just what the name implies— the famous Wheated Bourbon bottled at full strength without chill filtration. That 114 proof means you get all of the aromatic esters and essential oils, making for an explosion of flavor.

Tasting Notes
— Appearance: Warm Amber
— Aroma: Powerful and complex—from stone fruits to leather and baking spices with plenty of oak.
— Palate: If you can take it neat, the mouth waters with intense notes of english toffee and apricot with a rich mouth feel. With ice, the flavors open up in delectable waves of pecan praline and dark chocolate.
