1935 A $1 North Africa WW II Emergency Issue PMG 66 EPQ #313
Product Description
Being offered today is a VERY RARE $1 Dollar 1935 A “North Africa” Emergency Series Silver Certificate. The note carries a very high grade of PMG (Paper Money Guaranty) 66 EPQ (Exceptional Paper Quality). These notes are very hard to find in this high of a grade. Not to mention that this note is 89 years old, but it looks like it was just printed yesterday.
This special 1935A $1 Silver Certificate was printed for use during Operation Torch, which was the Allied invasion of North Africa. The U.S. was worried that large amounts of U.S. money would fall into enemy hands. So they created the yellow Treasury seal instead of blue, assuring instant recognition (and devaluation) in the event of defeats by the enemy, or if the enemy captured large quantities of cash. Known as a "yellow seal" Silver Certificate, this historic World War II currency note is highly sought after by collectors.
The note is centered very well, and the ink just pops off the note. The colors are bright and bold. The note has fantastic eye appeal. The note shows no sign of wear on the corners or the sides. All of the corners and edges of the notes are crisp and clean. There are no pinholes, rips, stains, or tears.
If you are an avid collector of true quality currency, then this is the one for you. This note is truly pristine and offers an excellent investment opportunity. This opportunity is for the discerning coin enthusiast who has been waiting for a TOP QUALITY offering such as this. So, if you are looking for something out of the ordinary, then look no further.
